HOW TO GUIDES
Give your flowers a Cwtch care guide:
This guide has been created to help you get the most out of your arrangement.
• Aqua Packed: If your hand tied arrangement is aqua packed in water, snip the bag over a sink to release the water.
• Paper Wrap: If desired you can leave this on, just make sure the paper is not sat in water. If you remove it, do so with care but do not untie your flowers.
• Snip Away: As part of the process, I would have snipped the stems on your flowers prior to wrapping them. To help increase the vase life, I would recommend you snip the stems every 3-4 days to help them drink more efficiently.
• Decisions Decisions: Picking the right vase for your arrangement is key to its presentation, after all, we want to make sure they look great for visitors to admire. Stand the flowers in clean water with the flower food provided. Make sure you read the packet and follow the instructions.
• Environment: Flowers love a cool place that’s draught free, like a hallway, kitchen or even a living room. Make sure they are out of direct sunlight and away from fruit.
Tip: Don't place your vase next to a fruit bowl, as fruit releases ethylene gas which will cause your flowers to die faster and make sure you remove any faded blooms or foliage.
• Water Change: Don’t forget to change the water in your vase. Cut flowers love clean, fresh water as this keeps them fresher for longer. I would recommend changing the water every 4- 5 days.
Give your Wreath a Cwtch care guide:

This guide has been created to help you get the most out of your arrangement.
• Keep it moist: One of the best things you can do for your wreath is to prevent it from drying out. Giving your wreath a little spray with water every other day or so will help. Make sure you spray as close to the wreath ring as possible, so the base gets most of the moisture.
• Indoors or Outdoors: Our wreaths have been specifically created with it being kept outdoors, however that’s not to say it can’t be brought inside from time to time to enjoy. The foliage used prefers cooler temperatures so it will last longer outside.
• Wind: If your door wreath is likely to be exposed to bad weather such as high winds, I would strongly recommend you place it somewhere sheltered like an outhouse or garage. This will prevent any items or decorations from being swept away.
• Scuffs and Knocks: Our wreaths are carefully created to endure a few knocks and scrapes, but they are not invincible. From time to time they can, if placed on a particularly busy front door, suffer from falling foliage or decorations. If this happens, just pop it back into the wreath with a little bit of force to ensure its secure.
Tip from Den: Taking a photo of your door wreath is great to show it off to your social media followers but it can also act as a point of reference if items fall off so you know where they have fallen from.
• All door wreaths from the Flower Den come with either a natural twine or tough ribbon to hang with. These are selected due to how durable they are. If you notice your twine or ribbon appearing worn or weathered, please contact us and we will be happy to assist you. Hope this helps, enjoy your beautiful bespoke flowers.
